My own writing
Everything I write here — the clinical notes, the field notes, the commentary that sits around a shared link — is published under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0.
You're welcome to copy it, quote it, translate it, adapt it, and use it in teaching, without asking me first. Three conditions:
- Credit — name me and link back to the original page.
- Non-commercial — not as part of something sold.
- Share alike — if you adapt it, publish the result under the same license.
Want to do something the license doesn't cover — use a piece commercially, or reproduce it without the share-alike condition? Just ask me. I'm reasonable.
What this does not cover
Some entries here are links to, or quotations from, other people's work. That material isn't mine to license. Copyright in it stays with whoever created it, and the license above doesn't extend to it.
Where an entry points to someone else's piece, the source is shown on the entry itself, so it's clear what came from where. If you want to reuse that material, go to the original author.
The medicthings name, logo, wordmark and snake mark are not covered by the license above — those stay all rights reserved.
A note on clinical content
Anything clinical here is a personal note, not medical advice, not a protocol, and not a substitute for your own training, judgment, or local guidelines. Don't treat a patient on the strength of something you read on a personal site — mine included.
